Johnson Controls in Matamoros, Mexico is seeking an experienced Lean/KAIZEN Engineer to drive improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations. You will support Kaizen events, map value streams, and monitor Lean Assessments to realize savings and standardization.

The role requires 5–7 years in lean environments, Six Sigma certification (Green/Black belt), and advanced English. HVAC familiarity and AutoCAD skills are preferred as part of ongoing process optimization.

Formación

• Engineering degree required.
• 5–7 years of experience in lean manufacturing.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Knowledge of OEE.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• AutoCAD knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Support improvement activities arising from rewards program.
• Support savings projects arising from KAIZEN events.
• Training, organization, and support of Value Stream Map activities.
• Realization, deployment and monitoring of Lean Assessment results.
• Coordination of the 5S audit and recognition program.
• Generation of savings projects and follow-up to standardization of best practices.
• Line balancing and A3 development.
