Airbus Helicopters Mexico Querétaro seeks a Manufacturing Design Engineer to define build plans and ensure production resources for efficient manufacturing sequences. You will analyze specifications and drawings to prepare BOMs and process routes for smooth transfer of products.

The role requires an engineering degree in Aeronautical/Industrial fields, 2–6 years in aerospace or related production, knowledge of GD&T, Lean/Six Sigma, and SAP. English proficiency is essential.

Formación

• Aeronautical, Industrial or related engineering degree required.
• 2–6 years in aeronautical, production or engineering roles.
• Experience in process analysis and improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of GD&T and interpretation of drawings.
• SAP experience and English language proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Define and ensure the creation of a complete Build Plan and Production Resources for an efficient manufacturing sequence.
• Create and manage manufacturing documents for industrialization and define ERP/MRP operations (SAP) processes.
• Assist in contributing to control of the manufacturing process and optimize resources.

Job Description

Manufacturing Design Engineer

As a Manufacturing Design Engineer you will define and ensure the creation of a complete Build Plan along with the necessary Production Resources and Requirements to come up with an efficient Manufacturing Sequence for the products to be transferred, through an analysis of the package of specifications or drawings, in order to meet customer requirements. Create and manage manufacturing documents for the industrialization of the product, as well as the definition of operations in ERP/MRP system (SAP) through the creation of “Bill of material” and process routes, in order to facilitate understanding for a proper execution of production processes by the operational staff; in order to contribute to an adequate control of the manufacturing process and savings by optimizing resources.
