Vertiv Co in Mexico is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage conversion costs and other variable costs across manufacturing. You will own weekly cost metrics, lead cost-out initiatives, and ensure accurate cost allocation to products and production lines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and up to 2 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing. Strong Excel, ERP/MRP skills, and English/Spanish bilingual abilities are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing, focusing on conversion costs and variable costs.
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Track, analyze, and report all variable costs (utilities, consumables, maintenance, packaging, freight, tooling).
• Audit and optimize cost allocation formulas and cost drivers; implement corrective actions.
• Analyze cost behavior vs production volume; perform CVP analyses for leadership.
• Create weekly cost scorecards; highlight deviations and corrective actions with owners.
• Track progress on cost-out initiatives; quantify savings and assign accountability.
• Manage cost allocation across cost centers, products, departments and lines.
• Oversee CAPEX process from request to post- investment review and ROI justification.
