Lite Thinking seeks a detail-oriented QA tester to design and execute manual tests, validate applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will analyze user stories and acceptance criteria, develop test cases, log defects, and document evidence to ensure quality releases.

The ideal candidate will have experience with functional, integration, and regression testing, API validation using Postman or SoapUI, and basic SQL for data checks.

Formación

• Experience in manual testing of applications or information systems.
• Knowledge of test case design and documentation.
• Experience interpreting user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Experience performing functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of the defect lifecycle.
• Experience logging, documenting, and tracking issues.
• Proficiency with test and project management tools such as ALM, Jira, or Trello.
• Basic experience validating APIs and services using Postman or SoapUI.
• Basic knowledge of load and stress testing with JMeter.
• Basic proficiency in SQL for querying and validating information in databases.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word to create test matrices, reports, and documentation.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Design and document test scenarios and test cases.
• Prepare data and environments for validation.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Validate APIs and services using Postman or SoapUI.
• Perform basic load and stress tests using JMeter.
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Record defects and document reproduction steps, results, and evidence.
• Classify and track issues until resolution.
• Run new tests after defects are fixed.
• Compile evidence and test execution reports.
• Create and maintain test matrices in Excel.
• Update test cases and documentation in ALM, Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
• Participate in follow-up meetings with development, QA, and product teams.
• Support communication and timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to compliance with quality standards.
