As a Managing Consultant on the Americas Gas & LNG Consulting team, you will play a key role in our growing consulting practice leading the management and delivery of a wide range of commercial and strategic consulting projects. You will be a front‑line leader involved in all aspects of the consulting process, from shaping the opportunity, performing the analysis, managing the project, and working closely with clients and Wood Mackenzie experts to develop insights to support critical client commercial and strategic decisions.

You will sit within the Americas Gas & LNG consulting team leading a broad range of projects which could include strategy development, transaction support, commercial due diligence, market and opportunity screening, and competitiveness analysis. However, you will regularly work cross‑sector and engage with colleagues from across the regional and global organization.

  • Act as Project Manager, coordinating and managing consulting projects by setting up a detailed project plan, story boarding, and working with a team to execute toward milestones
  • Lead and execute complex analysis of commodity markets and project economics, while leveraging industry research and expertise
  • Develop/use natural gas and LNG market fundamentals and pricing models, including working with large market datasets
  • Build and present compelling presentations conveying key messages and recommendations concisely for a senior audience
  • Support the creation and review of consulting proposals that create strategic insights for our clients and demonstrate the value of Wood Mackenzie
  • Actively engage in broader Consulting practice activities such as recruiting, training, and operational improvements
  • Build and maintain an internal network across consulting, research, and sales to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients and Wood Mackenzie
  • Actively coach teammates, advancing the development of consulting skills and processes across the consulting practice
