Job Description

Publicis Sapient is seeking a seasoned Mobile Architecture Lead/React Native Engineering Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership in the design, development, and delivery of cross-platform mobile applications. This role combines deep architectural expertise with hands-on team leadership, requiring a forward-thinking technologist who is passionate about mobile innovation and delivering high-performance digital products.

Your Impact:

• Provide thought leadership on mobile architecture and best practices, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and overall digital strategy.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in mobile app development, maintaining a strong awareness of emerging technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.

• Analyze software requirements and translate them into scalable cross-platform architecture, adapting or extending existing frameworks to support evolving business needs.

• Design robust mobile app architectures and integration strategies for a variety of external systems and APIs.

• Select and recommend the appropriate technology stack based on functional and non-functional requirements, technical feasibility, client constraints, and environmental factors.

• Document and communicate architectural decisions and designs clearly across stakeholders and development teams.

• Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to app development and delivery teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and performance.

• Lead the development of prototypes, proof of concepts, and feasibility analyses to support strategic technology initiatives.

• Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate external services and tools into the mobile platform.

• Work closely with project and product management teams to scope, estimate, and plan new features and projects effectively.

• Drive code quality, test coverage, and the implementation of development best practices including unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Promote clean coding, performance tuning, and secure development practices across all teams.

• Continuously research, evaluate, and adopt new tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance mobile development processes.

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in managing and leading development teams, providing day-to-day guidance, mentoring, and technical support.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee the development and deployment of mobile applications using React Native, Next.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid understanding of mobile application development and deployment processes.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and the technical feasibility of design implementations, with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric products.
• Deep commitment to engineering excellence, including code quality, testing strategies, and continuous deployment processes.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in mobile development and digital architecture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Set Yourself Apart With:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Additional Information

Hybrid Work Model: This project requires flexibility to work on-site at the client’s office in Chapultepec Bosques, Mexico City, up to three days per week.
