Job Description:

This role is part of the Operations Excellence function and Tech Excellence team, reporting to the Sr. Manager - Operations Excellence. The QA Manager will coordinate with product teams on process maturity and technology adoption, ensuring standardization, efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role involves managing QA CoE activities related to technology adoption, process standardization, best practices, automation, and performance testing frameworks. The QA Manager will also oversee QA delivery for products like Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  1. Lead QA process documentation, enable POD teams, manage QA audit workflows and scoring, support project/support quality auditing, and oversee post-audit reporting and remediation.
  2. Provide technology consulting on QA automation, CI/CD, web, API, and mobile testing.
  3. Support QA technology guidelines based on industry best practices, McDonald’s applications, data migration validation, and testing strategies.
  4. Advise on performance testing strategies and load test planning.
  5. Develop and review QA test management strategies and guidelines using Jira, Zephyr, and other tools.
  6. Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Tosca, Neoload, Github, and CI/CD pipelines.
  7. Manage QA test lab servers and infrastructure.
  8. Handle QA tools license management and vendor relationships.
  9. Standardize QA practices and processes across teams.
  10. Consult on adoption of QA dashboard reporting templates.
  11. Ensure QA delivery for specific products like MBS.

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 6 years of experience in IT QA, with at least 2 years in a managerial QA role.
  • Professional certifications from ISTQB or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
