Descripción del empleo

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-eccentric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world, distributing millions of products each year to our loyal customers.

Amazon is seeking a Regional Field Leader to work within the Mx Sort Center Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Field Team.

Mission: We are committed to driving down under-the-roof operating costs through standard work reinforcement. We do this by initiating, cultivating, and perfecting world-class management systems such as auditing, weekly reviews, and assisting with product and program application.

Our Customers:

  • Primary: The Amazon customer, whose needs (reducing variable cost structure and improving on-time delivery), are directly addressed by the Field Team by reducing cost to serve, package-level late departures, and mis-sorted shipments.
  • Secondary: MXSC Operations, specifically entry-level associates to executive Directors within the 3, plus Cross Border first-party Sort Centers in MX. The organization benefits from the Field Team through audits, reviews, on-site support, training, mentorship, and advising.

Key job responsibilities:

  1. Sort Center Operations Planning and Execution (SCOPE) Audit program: Establish, maintain, advance, plan, and execute site-level audits for operational performance gaps.
  2. Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) Review program: Establish, maintain, schedule, and facilitate sub-regional reviews to identify and correct performance gaps.
  3. On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during High Volume Events (HVE’s) or other high-risk circumstances at Sort Centers.
  4. Process, Product, and Program Support: Work backwards from problem statements and use customer anecdotes to drive feedback for technology, programs, and process improvements.

A day in the life: The NASC ACES Field Leader collaborates daily with operational leaders like Regional Directors, General Managers, and Site Leaders. The role involves cross-functional teamwork with Field Finance, Amazon Box Truck Network (ABTN), Labor Planning, NASC ACES teams, and Performance teams to solve problems. Leading through influence is essential.

This position involves conducting SCOPE Audits and managing the QCD Dashboard, facilitating A3 calls, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and identifying deviations from standard work.

This role requires travel approximately 50% of the time.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 9+ years of operations experience in continuous improvement
  • Experience using data and metrics for improvements
  • Experience interacting with executive leadership
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Regional/Network continuous improvement experience
  • Over 5 years of process improvement experience
