International Paper Company in Los Mochis, Mexico seeks a Manufacturing Manager to lead safety, productivity, and cost efficiency while driving continuous improvement. The role reports to optimize processes and guide the manufacturing team in line with corporate standards.

You will develop the manufacturing business plan, monitor throughput, waste, maintenance, inventories, and quality, while coaching teams and ensuring systems are current and effective.

Formación

• 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership, coordination, and competencies guiding the manufacturing team to safety, productivity, housekeeping, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and people systems.
• Develop and achieve the manufacturing business plan and overall cost effectiveness of operations.
• Monitor and direct throughput, cost, waste, maintenance, quality, inventories, and budgeted production metrics.
• Implement and maintain systems to drive manufacturing improvements.
• Lead, coach, motivate and engage work teams to accomplish operational objectives.
• Ensure management, manufacturing, maintenance, and HR systems are current and effective, with improvements.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, and performance feedback.

Position Title:

Manufacturing Manager

Provide leadership, coordination, and competencies that guide the manufacturing team and processes in the area of safety, productivity, housekeeping, customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and people systems; while promoting continuous improvement and the use of reliable methods within the manufacturing organization.

Responsible for the development and achievement of the manufacturing business plan and overall cost effectiveness of the manufacturing operation.

Monitor and direct the performance of all manufacturing activities including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventories control, and meeting budgeted production metrics, while ensuring that all safety reliable methods are in place.
Implement and maintain systems to drive manufacturing improvements.

Lead, coach, motivate and engage work teams to accomplish operational objectives.

Ensure that all management, manufacturing, maintenance, and human resources systems are current and effectively utilized, and improved where possible.

Actively involved in the development of employees through training, coaching, and performance review feedback.
