Job summary

Regal Rexnord, a global industrial manufacturer with offices worldwide, seeks a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in Mexico. The role emphasizes SQDC across multiple shifts in a precision machining environment.

You will partner with EHS and HR to ensure compliance with Mexican labor and safety standards, drive Kaizen and Lean initiatives, manage production scheduling and budgeting, and develop teams focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electromechanical engineering or related field
• MBA desirable
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement training or certifications desirable
• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience in precision machining environments with CNC lathes and milling
• Experience leading Kaizen events and Lean initiatives
• Working knowledge of Mexican labor, occupational safety, health, and environmental requirements (LFT)
• Working knowledge of STPS regulations and NOM-STPS relevant to processes and hazards
• Partner with EHS and HR to ensure compliance with labor, safety, policy and training requirements

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering,or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or Business Administration (MBA) is desirable.
• Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or problem-solving methodologies is highly desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience , including direct responsibility for supervisors and production associates.
• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Senior Production Supervisor, or equivalent leadership position preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing manufacturing operations across multiple shifts.
• Experience in precision machining environments , including familiarity with CNC lathes, milling operations, tooling, fixtures, and machining processes , highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing key manufacturing indicators related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Experience in resource and capacity planning, production scheduling, labor management, productivity improvement, and budget control.
• Experience leading Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, 6S, standard work, waste reduction, and continuous improvement projects.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong experience in performance management, employee development, accountability, and resolution/escalation of operational and personnel issues.
• Working knowledge of applicable Mexican labor, occupational safety, health, and environmental requirements , with particular emphasis on the Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) and requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Working knowledge of applicable Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (STPS) regulations and Mexican Official Standards ( NOM-STPS ) relevant to the processes, machinery, equipment, and workplace hazards under the position’s responsibility.
• Partner with EHS and Human Resources to ensure production activities are performed in accordance with applicable labor, safety, health, internal policy, and training requirements.
