A leading agricultural technology company in Querétaro is seeking an EHS Lead to manage compliance and safety for ongoing construction and commissioning projects. You will ensure adherence to Mexican EHS requirements and foster a culture of safety and health. Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of experience in EHS within relevant industries and proficiency in Spanish and English. Your Impact
  • Serve as site EHS lead for ongoing construction and staged commissioning; implement robust contractor controls (pre-job reviews, orientation, risk assessment, permit-to-work).
  • Plan and coordinate Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR-style) and safe handover; oversee critical milestones to validate controls prior to first production.
  • Ensure day-to-day compliance with applicable Mexican EHS requirements.
  • Own and maintain procedures, risk assessment, incident/near-miss investigation, CAPA, training/records.
  • Implement site practices consistent with AGCO Global EHS Policy; develop and execute the Queretaro roadmap toward ISO 45001/14001 readiness/certification in partnership with Regional/Global EHS.
  • Drive AGSAFE focus—Safety & Health, Environmental Sustainability, Behavior & Culture—using leading/lagging indicators to prevent SIF, reduce high-frequency risks, and elevate engagement.
Your Experience And Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5–8 years EHS in manufacturing/agriculture/related industry with increasing responsibility; startup/commissioning experience preferred. Technical: Working knowledge of Mexican EHS frameworks.
  • Systems: Proficiency with Enablon and familiarity with VelocityEHS (or similar) for data/analytics and ergonomics.
  • Languages: Spanish (required); English (required) for Regional/Global engagement.
  • Preferred Certifications: CSP, ASP, GSP, CIH, ISO 45001/14001 internal/external auditor, lead auditor OSHA 30-hour (or Mexico-equivalent credentials).
