Valeo North America Inc. in Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Intern (Warehouse) to support the maintenance team in ensuring the optimal functioning of warehouse equipment and systems, contributing to efficient operations and a safe working environment.

This part-time, fixed-term trainee role offers hands-on learning with forklifts, conveyors, and storage systems while developing technical skills and safety compliance.

Formación

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with routine preventative maintenance tasks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and storage systems.
• Support the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues.
• Participate in the inspection of equipment to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Help maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools in the maintenance workshop.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to learn best practices and develop technical skills.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the maintenance area.

Educación

Degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
