Job summary

Stark Future SL in Monterrey, Mexico, is launching its first manufacturing plant. We seek a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to sustain peak equipment uptime and support new machinery installation in a high‑volume EV manufacturing environment.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot failures, document activities, and collaborate with production and engineering on TPM and continuous improvement initiatives. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years in mechanical maintenance in automotive, EV or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of TPM and Lean Maintenance.
  • English and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement solutions.
  • Support installation and setup of new machinery.
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering on continuous improvement.
  • Inspect machinery and components; perform repairs and replacements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and SOPs; report activities.

The Role

Perform mechanical maintenance on assembly equipment and machinery at our new Monterrey plant, ensuring uninterrupted production and optimal equipment performance.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement solutions
  • Support installation and set-up of new machinery
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation
  • Collaborate with production and engineering on continuous improvement
Day to Day
  • Inspect machinery and mechanical components
  • Perform repairs and replacements as needed
  • Support production in resolving mechanical issues
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and SOPs
  • Report maintenance activities to supervisors
How Success Is Measured
  • Equipment uptime above 95%
  • Reduction in unplanned mechanical failures
  • Preventive maintenance compliance above 95%
  • Zero safety incidents
What You Will Bring to Stark
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery
