Job summary

Stark Future is opening its first manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Mexico. We seek a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure on-time production, and drive Lean initiatives.

You will coordinate workforce, monitor dashboards, and collaborate with quality, maintenance and supply chain to maintain top-tier performance. Fluent in English and Spanish, with 5+ years in production and at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in production or assembly operations in automotive, EV, or high-volume manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day production at the Monterrey plant, ensuring schedules and takt time.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation and machine utilisation for efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs: OEE, productivity, cycle time, scrap.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, standard work).
  • Ensure health and safety and drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Act as escalation point for bottlenecks and align with quality/maintenance/supply chain.

The Role

Lead day-to-day production at our new Monterrey plant, making sure battery and motorcycle assembly runs smoothly, efficiently and to world-class quality standards, while hitting safety, quality, cost and delivery targets.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to build schedules and takt time
  • Coordinate workforce allocation and machine utilisation for maximum efficiency
  • Monitor and improve production KPIs (OEE, productivity, cycle time, scrap)
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, standard work)
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Drive continuous improvement projects
  • Act as first escalation point for production bottlenecks
  • Work closely with quality, maintenance and supply chain to keep flow seamless
Day to Day
  • Daily Gemba walk and production meetings
  • Validate manpower allocation against plan
  • Monitor real-time dashboards for output, quality and downtime
  • Approve start-up checks and confirm line readiness
  • Support operators with problem-solving on the shop floor
  • Report shift results and issues to leadership

  • OEE above 85%
  • First Pass Yield above 98%
  • Scrap rate below 1%
  • Schedule adherence above 95%
  • Zero safety incidents
  • Labour productivity improving 5% year on year
What You Will Bring to Stark
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Analytical, data-driven problem solving
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM or Six Sigma
  • Proficiency with ERP/MES production systems
  • 5+ years in production or assembly operations in automotive, EV or high-volume manufacturing
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role
Nice to Have
  • Battery or motorcycle manufacturing background
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience with automation integration, line balancing and takt time reduction
