Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Reporting: Maintenance Leader

Functional Objectives

• Complete 100% of scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Repair breakdowns or adjust machinery within 20 minutes.
• Complete 100% of scheduled corrective maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Participate proactively in the maintenance plan and assist the molding area as needed.
• Adjust and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery and tools.
• Repair and configure plant equipment.
• Complete maintenance orders daily.
• Support the plant engineering department.
• Maintain and manufacture metal structures.
• Operate various cutting and stripping machines.
• Understand and adhere to the quality policy and objectives.
• Follow the documented quality system and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

• Technical High School diploma.
• Two to three years of experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams.
• Skill in electric arc welding.
• Knowledge of low voltage electricity.
• Understanding of molding machines.
• Experience working at heights and using lifting platforms.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and LOTO procedures.
• Experience in industrial machine maintenance.

Preferred experience in:

• Repairing molding machines.
• Maintaining plastic injection molds.
• Using Schleuniger stripping and cutting machines.
• Operating forklifts (with license).
