Valeo in Mexico seeks a Maintenance & Industrialization leader to manage engineers and technicians during new equipment industrialization, ensuring VSDP & IPROM standards are applied and cooperating with process PTM under compliance rules.

You will lead maintenance QRQC operations, drive MTTR/MTBF improvements, deploy ERP/TPM methods, keep technical docs up to date and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost control.

Formación

• Experience in leading maintenance teams and industrial projects.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental standards in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of TPM/QRQC concepts and maintenance optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Manage engineers/technicians during equipment industrialization.
• Ensure VSDP & IPROM standards are applied in equipment development.
• Collaborate with process PTM, ensuring compliance rules are followed.
• Participate in industrial IAR preparation and back-to-design flow.
• Lead maintenance QRQC and deploy ERIM/ TPM practices.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and work instructions.
• Keep spare parts lists current and manage maintenance budget impact.
• Lead continuous improvement activities and Kaizen initiatives.

• Incorporate safety LLC in equipment design.
• Is aware and gets applied to local & Group regulations and norms.

PEOPLE

• Develop expertise & specialists.
• Anticipate human resources needs, managing age pyramid & competence transfer needs & duration.
• Act to avoid turnover.
• Allocate resources to properly fulfil its role in the Mother / Daughter relationship.

INDUSTRIALIZATION

• Manage the engineers/technicians industrializing new equipment.
• Ensure that the VSDP &IPROM standards are applied in equipment industrialization in
• cooperation with process PTM, respecting compliance rules.
• Participate in industrial IAR preparation.
• Ensure back to design flow.

MAINTENANCE

• Manage its maintenance resources in order to minimize MTTR, maximize MTBF & TRP.
• Proposes maintenance budget (overheads, labour, spare parts inventory value); control respect of the budget.
• Drive productivity actions related to P-30.
• Lead maintenance QRQC.
• Deploy ERIM / TPM.
• Ensure the release and update of technical documentations & Work Instructions.
• Ensure equipment FMEA are done & up to date
• Keep up to date the Lists of spare parts

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Measurements and micro-stoppages observation sessions.
• Reach and maintain a dynamic and efficient Proposals of Improvements system.
• Participate in safety and environment risks reduction.
• Leads Safety QRQC for all accidents & near-misses involving Maintenance people.
• Contribute to new equipment and processes industrialization and start ups.
• Participate in Maintenance QRQC.
• Pilot PDCA / FTA & Maintenance 5 WHYs on topics assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Prepare LLC & Kaizen Cards.
• Participate in maintenance budget preparation & propose potential organization improvements.
