Maintenance & Technical Services Manager, Saltillo

Are you ready to lead transformation and drive operational excellence in a world-class manufacturing environment? PepsiCo is looking for a passionate and strategic Maintenance Manager to join our team and help shape the future of our operations.

What’s the role about?

As Maintenance & Technical Services Manager, Saltillo, you’ll lead our technical support and utilities teams, ensuring the reliable performance of our equipment and systems. Your mission: maintain seamless plant operations and continuously elevate reliability, safety, and efficiency using modern maintenance methodologies.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing operations, passionate about continuous improvement, and excited about digital transformation.

You will also be a key enabler of PepsiCo’s sustainability goals, ensuring full compliance with environmental and food safety management systems.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Lead and implement our Site Maintenance Strategy aligned with PEMM (PepsiCo’s maintenance excellence model).

  • Drive digital transformation and reliability-centered maintenance for world-class performance.

  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using SAP PM.

  • Optimize resources, reduce downtime, and maximize technical availability across all production assets.

  • Empower and develop your team, building strong technical capability and a culture of accountability.

  • Lead the operation and maintenance of utilities infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient energy delivery.

  • Monitor KPIs (TE, MTBF, MTTR) to identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.

  • Ensure full compliance with internal, external, and legal inspection requirements.

You’ll also champion our sustainability & food safety programs:

Environmental Management:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and PepsiCo’s GEHSMS.

  • Support internal audits and continuous improvement of our environmental systems.

Food Safety:

  • Enforce and improve standards across all food safety processes.

  • Foster a culture of safety and quality across the plant.

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance leadership roles.

  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • Strong strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and operational discipline.

  • Experience with SAP, Excel, and digital tools.

  • PLC experience
  • Basic to Intermediate Control and PLC knowledge

  • Maintenance Planning

  • Resource Management

  • Passion for developing talent and leading high-performing teams.
