Formación

Job Description

Danfoss Mexico is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring the effective execution of maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and production efficiency. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing maintenance schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Coordinate with other departments to plan maintenance activities that align with production goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history for audits and operational insights.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance staff.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Background in Engineering: Electronics, Automation, or Robotics.
  • In-depth understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven experience diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery (e.g., CNC, heat treatment furnaces).
  • Sensors and automation knowledge.
  • Structured problem solving techniques (PDCA, 8D, 5W+2H, Ishikawa, Matrix XY, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Skilled in storeroom inventory management.
  • Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools (Thermography, vibration ultrasonic analysis, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Proactive attitude.
