Personal Safety Management – Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure all personnel follow safety procedures on the platform.
Process Safety Management (PSM) – Ensure strict adherence to PSM standards. Conduct routine audits and actively participate in forums focusing on performance of and health of process systems.
Team Leadership – Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks while maintaining a balance safe execution, development opportunity and fair evaluation of performance.
Team Development – Consider individual development when conducting work assignments to purposely improve and broaden individual experience on the team and provide depth for succession of roles.
Equipment Maintenance – Monitor the condition of production equipment, identify potential issues, and initiate necessary maintenance activities to prevent downtime.
Problem-solving – Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with onshore technical teams to resolve complex problems.
Engage the maintenance team; plan and schedule all maintenance activities utilizing S4H to meet planning objectives
Assist management in developing the maintenance component of the annual budget and manage controllable expenditures at the facility
Engage with other operating disciplines, including planners, to coordinate facility activities
Ensure all maintenance and integrity management activities are in compliance with legislation, the facility Safety Case, ISO 14001 and company HSE management systems
Ensure that all 3rd party activities are conducted in compliance with company HSE management standards
Coordinate daily activities with the maintenance team, minimizing production impact
Liaise with the warehousing, inventory, and logistics in relation to forward planning and determination of levels of spares and maintenance consumables on the facilities
Ensure all safety and emergency response equipment is in a state of constant readiness
Supervise and coordinate the evaluation of machinery operation and condition through maintenance inspection and testing, as well as critical function testing
Provide guidance and supervision during shutdown/turnaround activities
Utilize electronic permit to work system for management of all activities requiring work permits and energy isolation. Verify risk assessments are relevant to task and effectively identify hazards and applied controls. Isolation plans are effective and adhere to company procedures. Manage simultaneous operations through work screening and sequencing and ensure work activities are conducted in accordance to company policy and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Compliance – Maintain strict compliance with all applicable regulations, ASEA, SEMAR, company policies, and environmental standards
Strengths:
Proficiency in interpreting P&IDs, engineering and equipment drawings.
Ability to effectively plan, coordinate, sequence and execute complex work scopes in a safe and efficient manner.
Appetite for continuous improvement and desire to challenge existing processes/procedures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong people leader with effective interpersonal skills and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work in a demanding and challenging offshore environment on rotational basis.
Qualifications:
University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Industrial Maintenance).
Ten or more years of experience in maintenance operations on offshore oil and gas production facilities.
B1/B2 USA Visa is required.
Experience in all aspects of maintenance and integrity management on oil and gas process equipment including rotating equipment, safety systems, utility systems, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
Strong background in health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, as well as knowledge of ASEA and SEMAR regulations.
Experience in concurrent operations in production, drilling, maintenance, marine and construction activities.
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.
Proficient computer skills relevant to job responsibilities
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability and good personal, interpersonal and team skills.
Must hold Flag State (i.e. Bahamas Maritime Authority) Issued Merchant Mariner Document with rating of Maintenance Supervisor.
Proficiency in English is required
