Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning and organizing the work activities of the team, prioritizing tasks that require immediate attention, and ensuring they are completed safely and promptly.

1. Organize and assign workflow, ensuring employees understand their duties and delegated tasks.
2. Assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
3. Analyze and make decisions regarding critical equipment failures.
4. Ensure all productive and peripheral equipment operates at 100%, avoiding downtime.
5. Coordinate equipment and building improvement projects.
6. Maintain the peripheral equipment of the plant (air conditioners, compressors, chillers, fire protection systems, building, etc.) in operational condition.
7. Supervise preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment.
8. Manage procurement of materials needed for maintenance activities.
9. Coordinate preventive maintenance programs.
10. Maintain inventory levels for key equipment (Maximum and Minimum).
11. Lead daily maintenance team meetings to facilitate communication.
12. Ensure team safety by enforcing safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience and an associate degree.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience with industrial electrical installations.
• Knowledge in interpreting pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of welding, PLC, substations, fire-fighting systems, and molding processes.
• Experience in failure analysis with electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer systems.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Intermediate English level (desirable).
