We are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Ensenada, Mexico. Maintenance supervisors oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, ventilation and other building systems. They may be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed. Maintenance-related duties include performing initial evaluations of building systems and distributing work assignments.

Essential Functions:

  • Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
  • Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditure; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
  • Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems and requirements.
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
  • Improves the function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results, identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of manufacturing maintenance supervision experience, preferably in musical instrument or similar precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in developing, tracking, and improving maintenance KPIs including: - Equipment Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) - Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) - Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
  • Demonstrated expertise in preventive maintenance programs, industrial equipment (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, CNC machinery, and HVAC Systems).
  • Strong proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in budget management, project planning, and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
