Maintenance Specialist III

Coordinates and supervises maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Responsible for safety and environmental compliance. Develops specifications and prepares detailed cost estimates for equipment, installation, labor, materials, and project preparations.

Maintains production equipment to meet organizational standards and minimize downtime. Ensures adherence to preventive maintenance programs and procedures.

May administer training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
2. Coordinate and supervise contracted maintenance services, including negotiating costs and managing activities.
3. Support Maintenance Manager in tracking KPI indicators.
4. Maintain knowledge of emergency installations (fire systems, power installations, etc.).
5. Provide spare parts and materials for machinery operation and building maintenance.
6. Monitor and control fluids used in operations (soluble oils, lubricants).
7. Possess knowledge of medium and low-voltage electrical systems.
8. Understand water treatment systems.
9. Oversee the work of maintenance technicians.
10. Manage costs and budgets effectively.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance or facility management.
3. Proficiency with computer productivity tools and internet capabilities.
4. Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Travel: Occasionally. Ensure visa and passport are up to date.

Language:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (80%).
