Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Puerto Vallarta, Nayarit, to ensure optimal performance of facilities and infrastructure through preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution.

You will lead maintenance activities, supervise technicians, uphold safety standards, and coordinate with engineering. Proficiency in English (basic–intermediate) and an industrial-engineering background with 2–3 years' experience are preferred, with rotating shifts offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of facility maintenance experience, supervising work teams and coordinating maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure operational continuity.
• Coordinate and supervise daily maintenance activities, optimize resources, meet deadlines.
• Ensure safety programs comply with standards and Cortiva/Corteva guidelines.
• Plan weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance to protect equipment and facilities.
• Design and implement periodic inspections prioritizing corrective and preventive actions.
• Recruit, supervise, and train technicians as operational needs arise.
• Verify operation of critical systems (electrical, ventilation, sanitary, hydraulic).
• Supervise tools and inventory, ensuring availability and efficient use.
• Foster a safe work environment and enforce safety norms.
• Lead and organize maintenance staff, assign tasks, and promote safety and efficiency.

Maintenance Specialist

Tienes la oportunidad de unirte a nuestro equipo como Maintenance Specialist en Puerto Vallarta, Nayarit. La posición de Maintenance Specialist será responsable de asegurar el óptimo desempeño de las instalaciones e infraestructura a través de la planificación y ejecución eficiente de todas las actividades de mantenimiento. Esto implica una gestión estratégica de los recursos disponibles, buscando maximizar su uso y reducir cualquier tipo de desperdicio o ineficiencia. Al priorizar el mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo, se garantiza no solo la continuidad operativa, sino también la prolongación de la vida útil de los equipos, reduciendo tiempos de inactividad y costos asociados a reparaciones imprevistas. Todo esto enmarcado dentro de un enfoque de mejora continua que busca implementar las mejores prácticas para el uso responsable de recursos humanos, materiales y financieros.

Actividades:

• Ejecutar el programa de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para asegurar la continuidad operativa de las instalaciones.


• Coordinar y supervisar las tareas diarias del área, optimizando recursos y cumplimiento de plazos.


• Asegurar la implementación de programas de seguridad conforme a las normas de Corteva.


• Planear el mantenimiento semanal, mensual y anual para garantizar el cuidado oportuno de equipos e instalaciones.


• Diseñar e implementar inspecciones periódicas que prioricen acciones correctivas y preventivas.


• Reclutar, supervisar y capacitar técnicos conforme a las necesidades operativas.


• Verificar el funcionamiento de sistemas críticos (eléctrico, ventilación, sanitario e hidráulico).


• Supervisar herramientas e inventario, asegurando su disponibilidad y uso eficiente.


• Garantizar el cumplimiento de normas de seguridad, promoviendo un entorno laboral seguro.


• Liderar y organizar al personal de mantenimiento, asignando tareas y fomentando un ambiente seguro y eficiente.

Requisitos:

• Formación académica en Ingeniería industrial o afines.


• Experiencia mínima de 2 a 3 años en mantenimiento de instalaciones: Preferiblemente con habilidades para supervisar equipos de trabajo y coordinar tareas de mantenimiento.


• Conocimiento en normativas de salud y seguridad.


• Inglés básico-intermedio (deseable)


• Manejo y conocimiento de sistemas Microsoft, capaçidad para gestionar bases de datos.


• Cualidades como liderazgo, organización, trabajo en equipo, proactividad, trabajo bajo presión, toma de decisiones, entre otras.


• Flexibilidad para trabajar en turnos rotativos.
