Job Summary
As a Maintenance Specialist you will support the improvement, development and deployment of global maintenance recommendations for Packaging equipment. You will also drive standardization and continuous improvement of our Maintenance management system globally and provide system support for Service Sales and Delivery based on the 2030 strategy.
You can be based in any of our offices in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama or Guatemala.
You will be travelling 25% of your time to our customer sites.
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As a Maintenance Specialist you will:
- Drive the consistent use and application of the global maintenance process and tools within the market area of responsibility, compliance to TPMS (Tetra Pak Maintenance System) process schedule.
- Participate in continuous improvement of maintenance recommendation via advanced analysis.
- Support maintenance customer assessments when requested and deliver customer adapted maintenance management to secure system performance.
- Support development in maintenance management to MO (Market Operations), CSO (Customer Service Operations) and Customer.
- Support field forces to solve maintenance management related issues, securing that the process is consistently followed and applied.
- Support to define and implement customized applications and solutions, to support the growth of our Services Solutions Sales.
- Support reviewing maintenance recommendations on request by the sales team (Single Sales, Service Contract).
- Participate in maintenance accelerators creation (e.g. Predictive Maintenance).
- Drive continuous improvement of process, tools, and competence for maintenance.
- Management of maintenance system (Work Orders) and tool (CMMS).
- Serve as Business Expert on maintenance related subjects, as required.
Profile description:
We believe you have- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Industrial) or Food Science.
- At least 2+ years of experience with Industrial Machinery and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Packaging equipment and experience in a technical role in Packaging is considered a plus for external candidates.
- Understanding of maintenance and reliability concepts.
- Advanced English level is a must.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications. Advanced skills in Excel.
- Knowledge of data analytics concepts and tools would be a plus. (Power BI)
- Team player, sociable, able to collaborate with different departments and stakeholders.
- Paying attention to details, analytical mindset, results driven attitude, proactive, independent.
