About the role

In this strategic role, you will inspire and oversee a skilled engineering team within one of our large-scale factories. Your expertise will be pivotal in executing projects that enhance operational efficiency and adapt to supply chain demands. Principal objective of the role: Remediate the entire preventive maintenance system.

Location of the Role: MX, Tlalpan.

Responsibilities

• Define a forward-thinking capital investment plan aligned with a 5-year horizon for our large, dynamic site.
  - Oversee the capital investment process from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet specifications.
  - Collaborate with site management to provide a comprehensive view of investment plans and secure necessary resources.
  - Lead your team to meet project success criteria, adhering to timelines and budgets, and completing appraisals and close-out reports.
  - Promote continuous improvement across systems, practices, and processes, fostering a culture that values progress.
• Responsible for pharmaceutical maintenance (productive manufacturing equipment, air conditioning, buildings, facilities), critical services (purified water, compressed air), and general services.

Experience required

• Proven leadership in projects and manufacturing within a similar environment, guiding teams with management acumen.
  - In-depth understanding of engineering, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies.
  - Strong commercial insight to identify business issues and opportunities.
  - Proven ability to lead engineering and maintenance teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  - Resilience under pressure and excellent communication skills to ensure clarity and partnership across levels.
• At least 5 years as a maintenance manager in the pharmaceutical or consumer sector.
• Knowledge of SAP, including the AP & Planned Maintenance modules.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience operating SAP systems.
• Handling electrical tension (electrical releases, interventions).
• Previous experience in achieving high-efficiency teams.
