Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Apodaca, México)

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Operations team in Apodaca.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for optimizing the maintenance process and implementing focused improvements to equipment to avoid disruptions in our operations.

What you’ll do

1. Plan, design, and coordinate engineering projects to improve production capacity, quality, and efficiency.
2. Troubleshoot complex and/or repetitive equipment problems.
3. Stay updated on technical developments in your field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition.
4. Resolve complex electrical or mechanical breakdowns on equipment and production lines.
5. Monitor production equipment to ensure it functions according to HSEQ procedures and legislation, preventing accidents, physical harm, and environmental damage.

Your qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
2. Technical knowledge in maintenance, including planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, with proficiency in Excel, Microsoft tools, and maintenance planning software.
3. Advanced English language skills.
4. Skills focused on machine safety and ergonomics.
5. Soft skills: problem-solving, leadership, coaching, project management, effective communication, and interaction with senior management.
