Job summary

Bosch México in Querétaro's Vehicle Motion plant manufactures EPS systems and emphasizes proactive maintenance to protect equipment uptime. This role focuses on preventing issues, solving problems, and collaborating with Production, Processes and Quality to boost OEE.

You will lead root cause analysis, guide technical decisions, and manage spare parts strategy for critical equipment, combining data-driven thinking with a strong ownership mindset to sustain reliable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, industrial controls, and robotics.
• Proficient in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Familiar with TPM principles and structured problem-solving methods (8D, Shainin).

We, Queretaro Plant, are part of the Vehicle Motion - Bosch Mobility and are responsible for the manufacturing of Electronic Power Steering (EPS) systems. Our site has 900+ associates working across different operations such as HSE, Quality, Controlling, Human Resources, Logistics, Engineering, and of course, Manufacturing.

Target

To guarantee the reliability of our production equipment by driving a proactive maintenance strategy. This role focuses on preventing issues, executing problem-solving, and collaborating closely with Production, Processes, and Quality to boost overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Main Responsibilities

• Drive Proactive Maintenance: Develop, manage, and optimize data-driven preventive and predictive maintenance programs (TPM) to anticipate failures.
• Collaborate for Improvement: Act as the key maintenance partner for Production, Processes, and Quality teams to enhance equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of equipment failures to implement robust, long-term solutions and prevent recurrence.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Offer high-level support for complex equipment issues and manage spare parts strategy for critical components.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, PLCs, industrial controls, and robotics.
• Proficient in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Familiar with TPM principles (Corrective, Preventive, Predictive) and structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Shainin).
