- Routine Maintenance: Perform daily equipment inspections (TPM), check key components (e.g., spindle, guide rails, hydraulic system, electrical system), and document records for archiving or uploading to the Plex system.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment failures, engage supplier resources, and guide or assist technicians in repairs.
- Data Recording: Track equipment operating conditions, failure frequency, and repair durations to create maintenance records and develop improvement plans.
- Spare Parts Management: Evaluate and manage spare part inventory to ensure the availability of critical components, minimizing downtime. Maintain proper records of spare parts stock and usage.
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Scheduled Maintenance: Develop and implement periodic maintenance plans (e.g., lubrication, cleaning, replacement of wear parts) based on equipment manuals and production needs.
- Condition Monitoring: Utilize vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis to detect abnormalities in advance and reduce unexpected failures.
- Component Life Management: Track the lifespan of critical components, optimize replacement schedules, and reduce maintenance costs.
Safety Management
- Safety Inspections: Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards, including emergency stop devices, photoelectric sensors, and protective barriers.
- Hazard Identification: Conduct regular equipment checks to prevent oil leaks, overloads, excessive wear, and aging electrical components.
- Training & Supervision: Train operators on safe equipment usage, improving their self-maintenance capabilities and reducing damage due to improper operation.
Cost Control
- Reduce manufacturing costs through material savings and minimizing quality-related scrap.
- Optimize MRO material usage by identifying alternative materials and suppliers.
