Miba Precision Technologies Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead a maintenance team across multiple production processes. You will troubleshoot mechanical systems, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure efficient operation of equipment such as conveyors, motors, PLCs, and robotic assemblers.

The role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and proactive problem solving to minimize downtime.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a maintenance team across multiple processes (sinterized process, PM engines, motors, conveyors, packaging and more).
• Plan production line changeovers based on packaging requirements.
• Troubleshoot by observing mechanical devices and using testing instruments; install/maintain PLCs, servo motors and drives, HMI and robotics.
• Plan preventive and predictive maintenance routines to minimize emergencies.
• Monitor MTBF and other indicators to validate maintenance strategies.
• Manage inventories of parts and supplies and coordinate procurement.
• Coordinate emergency corrective maintenance and document root causes.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment complying with GMP, SQF, LOTO.

Maintenance Coordinator leads the system to repair and maintain production line equipment, troubleshoot problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring, testing instruments and leading people to success.

What you can expect

Lead a maintenance team across several processes, such as; sinterized process,P/M engines, motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, packaging systems, press systems, boilers, refrigeration, chiller, washers, lift trucks, etc.

Complete production line change overs based on packaging requirements

Troubleshoot problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Install and maintain PLC’s, Servo motors and drives, HMI’s, robotic assembly equipment etc.

Plan for the future and direct the execution of preventive and predictive maintenance routines across equipment, minimizing emergency care.

Monitor key indicators, such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), to validate the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Attend to and coordinate emergency corrective maintenance tasks in a structured manner to identify the root cause of failure.Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by performing general housekeeping, complying to GMP, SQF, LOTO and safety standards.
