Job summary

Kyndryl in Mexico is seeking a software engineer to design, build and maintain high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe, and to refactor legacy code for seamless cloud and mobile interaction. You’ll join a global community of experts, collaborating openly to drive modernization and cloud-native integration.

You will improve performance, debug complex systems, and develop future-proof solutions by adopting microservices, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and RESTful services.

Qualifications

• Experience developing complex software on large projects.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python or .NET with debugging.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based services.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience with DevOps practices and modern engineering.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Performance: Monitor and optimize mainframe-based processes to preserve efficiency.
• Debug and Test: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep critical applications running.
• Develop for the Future: Extract and migrate business logic for cloud-based service integration.
