Responsibilities:

  1. Organize, plan, and optimize engineering resources to meet customer requirements in terms of safety, quality, personnel, cost, and response.
  2. Lead and direct staff to achieve the company's established objectives.
  3. Collaborate with the Project Engineering area on activities required for new project launches, APQP planning, layout design, and project quotations.
  4. Coordinate and manage the implementation of machining lines and assist in prototype construction until project release to production.

Profile:

Proactive, objective, problem-solving leader, analytical, responsible, team player, and able to make decisions under pressure.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience:

5 years in the machining process engineering area.

Specific Knowledge:

Technical:

  1. Knowledge of machining processes in gear generation and cylindrical surface grinding, as well as process automation.
  2. Experience in designing and implementing error/mistake proofings, knowledge of APQP, mechanism design, and GD&T handling.
  3. Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools, AIAG, PFMEA, DFMEA, and core tools.

Administrative:

  1. Strong leadership, good judgment, project management, flexible schedule.
  2. Proficient in software packages (Project, MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  3. Effective communication and negotiation techniques.

Languages:

Advanced English.
