Syntron Material Handling is seeking an intermediate technician to perform routine tasks related to machine operation and technical work. The role requires basic skills with increasing independence, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines while supporting project teams and customers.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret drawings, use CNC machine centers or grinders, and have a high school diploma with about 2+ years of field experience.

Overview

Performs relatively routine tasks requiring general knowledge related to the work of the department and/or project team. This is an intermedicate level position in regards to machine operating, utilizing basic skills learned previously and applying them with increasing independence while completing the tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties. May operate CNC machine centers and/or grinders.
• Demonstrate proficiency to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Routinely requires decisions that involve some judgment to determine a course of action which is consistent with established functional policies and goals covered by general procedures. Utilizes intermediate analytical and problem solving skills.
• Identify deviations from standards.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally 2 + years of experience in field.
