Job summary

Amanvari is seeking a Spa Receptionist to be the first and last touchpoint in guests' spa journeys. You will manage reservations, guide guests on treatments, and maintain a calm, luxurious environment in the spa and retail areas.

Join a high-end wellness team, collaborating with Spa Therapists and management to deliver personalized experiences. Strong communication and 3+ years in a luxury setting are preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree or currently pursuing studies; background in wellness, hospitality, or administration is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or spa environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience as a Spa Receptionist or Front Desk Agent in a high-end hospitality setting is an asset.
• Solid understanding of spa and beauty therapies, treatment types, benefits, and guest recommendations.
• Familiarity with health, hygiene, and safety protocols in wellness and spa environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera, and spa booking/management software.
• Working knowledge of retail operations, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
• Proven ability to upsell treatments, packages, and retail products while supporting sales goals.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalized guest service from arrival to departure, recognizing guests by name.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on spa offerings, treatments, and experiences based on guest preferences.
• Manage spa reservations and appointments, optimizing occupancy and therapist availability.
• Maintain up-to-date guest profiles and treatment histories for personalized future visits.
• Coordinate with Spa Therapists and Wellness teams to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Support spa retail operations with product knowledge and stock management.
• Ensure accurate billing for spa services and retail transactions following standards.
• Maintain a serene, well-presented spa environment reflecting luxury standards.
• Uphold spa standards of operation, safety, and hygiene at all times.
• Contribute to a collaborative Spa team through meetings, training, and inventory checks.
