Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 0-2 years in logistics or supervisory roles.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is necessary.

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Coordinate and provide front line supervision of all activities through assigned personnel on receipt, transfers and inventory accuracy within Receiving and Stockrooms areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • On a daily basis plans and coordinates work activities for material handler, clerk or any personnel assigned.
  • Assigns personnel to offload in a timely manner all incoming material and routes accordingly within the facility.
  • Coordinates distribution of MRO items to customers throughout the facility in an expeditious manner.
  • Assures raw material components are picked and delivered to Manufacturing areas without production interruptions.
  • Maintains accurate inventory through supporting cycle count program to meet department goals.
  • Performs area inspections and audits as required to ensure housekeeping and safety violations are non-existent.
Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 0-2 years receiving/stockrooms administrative or supervisor experience or similar roles in the logistics field.
  • Basic SAP knowledge or ERP knowledge.
  • C-TPAT and safety culture basic knowledge.
  • Bilingual (Intermediate level).
Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Microsoft Office.
