YOUR TASKS
Duties And Responsibilities
Material Planning
- Review complex requirement notices regarding quantities, dates, and descriptions with system support.
- Define and ensure economical order quantities based on planning rules.
- Update logistics material master data, considering targets like safety stock levels, in coordination with internal departments.
- Verify safety stock levels, batch sizes, lead times, and update stored data as needed.
- Manage stock levels for a complex range of parts.
- Participate in supply chain optimization within departmental guidelines.
- Manage complex stock for designated responsibilities.
- Attend or lead coordination meetings with internal departments.
- Plan, control, and monitor deliveries of purchased parts according to requirements and schedules.
- Oversee component allocation for external production, ensuring quantity and timing accuracy.
- Serve as the primary contact for material planning processes and supplier management at the plant.
- Conduct training and knowledge transfer on standardized material planning processes to purchase parts planners and supervisors.
- Create regular analyses of material master data, including stock values and ranges, and execute necessary corrections.
- Monitor and measure performance to meet targets.
- Provide first-level support to purchase parts planners.
- Trigger orders and follow up on deadlines.
- Monitor delivery dates, follow up on deadlines, and address guarantees, involving responsible internal departments.
- Escalate in case of difficult deadline situations.
- Develop complex solutions for supply bottlenecks in collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and management.
- Verify incoming order confirmations and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers.
- Coordinate the timely provision of parts/materials between suppliers and internal departments, and monitor their use, return, or consumption.
- Handle incoming goods journal processing, resolve excess deliveries or schedule changes, and initiate logistics escalation if necessary.
- Set up and continuously monitor supplier consignment stores using system tools.
- Prepare and lead logistics supplier meetings regarding deadlines and quantities, and participate in supplier evaluations.
- Process invoice discrepancies related to quantities on the accounts payable side.
- Monitor Kanban control loops, defining master and movement data to ensure availability with minimal stock levels.
- Take planning responsibility for items prior to SOP.
- Perform regular analyses and corrections of scheduling-related master data for procurement.
- Specify and implement system-based change requests, including gathering requirements, gap analysis, testing, user training, and documentation.
- Configure and document material planning SAP modules to align with business needs.
Project Management / Key User
- Support management and project leaders in complex logistics projects, including rollout and sustainable implementation of standard processes.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project tasks using established methods and systems.
- Coach and train project team members and organize additional training if necessary.
- Negotiate logistics terms with suppliers, service providers, and customers (e.g., JIT/JIS, turnaround times, packaging).
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional experience in supply chain and logistics within the automotive industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS, JIT (Just-in-Time), and SAP MM modules for material planning.
- Experience with ASN generation, DOH calculation, and master data maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Analytical thinking and leadership capabilities in high-pressure environments.
- Effective time management skills.
