A leading technology company in Mexico is seeking a Logistics Finance Accounting Analyst to provide financial support to logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business or economics and 0-2 years of experience in financial management. Logistics Finance Accounting Analyst

Description -

The organization provides financial support to Logistics Operations and other Finance organizationsrelated to Deliver & Supply Chain Cost and metrics.

This position will be focusedto provide financial support to some Print businesses in specific processes.

Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.

Responsibilities
  • Performs data extraction as well as diagnosis of financial drivers, and leverages analytics to make recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Conducts comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units, addressing financial business issues and providing valuable analytics to support key business initiatives.
  • Acquires a comprehensive understanding of the organization's financial processes and gains proficient knowledge of the company's operations and business.
  • Supports business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization.
  • Ensures compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting.
  • Applies foundational principles and contributes proactively to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments.
  • Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.

  • Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
