Formación

  • 2+ years experience in logistics with a focus on planning and operations.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

This position consists of overall logistics activities related to the Planning Workload, Exportation, Importation and Local Processing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Execute Outbound, Inbound, and local logistics operations.
  2. Plan and release the DC daily workload.
  3. Schedule local and international freight carriers via TMS portals.
  4. Schedule dedicated units for urgent requests.
  5. Monitor deliveries from origin to destination, end to end.
  6. Manage On-Time Delivery.
  7. Communicate and coordinate with the customs team to ensure a better flow of material.
  8. Plan daily exportation units.
  9. Support warehouse operations assisting the shipping team.
  10. Follow the rules and regulations of TE, EHS, and Global Logistics.
What your background should look like:
  1. BS in Industrial Engineering / Business Management / Business and International Trade / or related to Logistics.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in the field of Logistics.
  3. Experience in Logistics Planning, Importation & Exportation Process, 3PL Management.
  4. Experience in cross-docking.
  5. SAP knowledge or any related ERP System/Application, Advanced Excel Skills.
  6. Proficient in English verbal and written.
  7. Strong verbal, analytical, and written communication skills.
  8. Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
  9. Sense of urgency.
  10. Strong teambuilding skills with the warehouse team to achieve quality results through team interaction and effective cross-group collaboration.
  11. Demonstrated personal leadership of cross-functional teams, demonstrating organizational and management skills.
  12. Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to analyze data and use critical thinking to reach logical conclusions and decisions. Results oriented.
  13. Experience working in a large, global organization.
  14. Experience working with a third-party logistics provider.

This position is an onsite position, located in Hermosillo Sonora.

This position requires rotating your shift every 3 months.
