GE Aerospace in Querétaro seeks an LM6000 SPOCT Leader to drive systems aerothermal integration and leadership for NPI and Sustaining programs. You will guide cross-functional teams across Controls, Performance, Operability, and Transient areas, shaping requirements, CTQ trades, and technical strategies.

You will provide leadership in field investigations, support aeroderivative production, and translate complex concepts for senior leaders.

Formación

• Engineering bachelor’s degree in aero-thermo, mechanical, energy or related field.
• Strong aero-thermo understanding with background in Controls or Transient.
• Experience coordinating projects with autonomy and ownership.
• Proven project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

## LM6000 SPOCT LeaderApply: Queretaro: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: September 30, 2026 (7 days left to apply): R5040064# ******Job Description Summary******The LM6000 SPOCT leader provides systems aerothermal integration and leadership for NPI and Sustaining programs in the product line driving excellence in technical requirements and execution of performance, operability, controls, and transient aspects. This is a cross functional leader that integrates Controls, Performance, Operability, Transient Analysis, Combustion, Aero, and related elements such as Acoustics, Emissions, Heat Transfer/Secondary Flows and Durability.# **Job Description**Roles and Responsibilities* Create best in class products by executing a robust design process for maximum product capability, performance, and operability.* Manage critical systems level efforts like thermal management, engaging customers on key issues, identifying, and owning high level requirements.* Manage product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down.* Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams being integrated.* Bring knowledge and expertise from the SPOCT community to benefit AEO products and customers.* Provide technical leadership and support to field event investigations for the installed fleet, including formulating control plans, identifying risks and abatements, determining root cause, and implementing field fixes.* Provide technical leadership and support to aeroderivative engine production and delivery.* Support the business by leading the aerothermal integration of the listed technical disciplines, manage interfaces between execution organizations (Performance, Operability, Controls and Transient).* Provide technical guidance to business on engine growth, improvement capabilities and understanding of risks.* Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stay informed of industry trends that may inform work.* Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, technology, or engineering.* Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and able to construct and provide recommendations.* Translate difficult concepts into clear, concise messages for senior leaders and influence stakeholders’ opinions on critical topics.Required Qualifications* Engineering bachelor’s degree related to any of the technical disciplines being integrated (Performance, Operability, Controls or Transient).
