Dematic is seeking a Professional Controls Engineer to join the Lifecycle Solutions and Services (LSS) Modernizations and Upgrades team in Monterrey, MX. You will design schematics and control panels, select hardware/software, and drive project execution across sites in the USA with up to 50% travel.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of related experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and PLC platforms (Rockwell or Siemens).

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
• 4+ years of successful experience in related field.
• Experience leading the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software, including documentation and forecasting.
• Demonstrates knowledge of AutoCAD and PLCs (Rockwell or Siemens).
• Knowledgeable in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety.

Join to our team as Professional Controls Engineer for our Lifecycle Solutions and Services (LSS) Modernizations and Upgrades team. The ideal candidate typically have a minimum of 4-8 years of experience in Controls engineering. Qualified candidates are proficient in planning, creating schematic and panel assembly drawings, working with PLCs (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), HMIs, and VFD's, implementation and commissioning of engineering design projects. Work to meet deadlines and deliverables, achieve budget, and manage risk with team leads.* Participate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.* Perform important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly defined issues.* Capable of solving complex or unusual problems related to Hardware and/or Software.* Lead complex projects through the project lifecycle, including delegating project tasks accordingly.* Perform site-audits at initiation of project to gather site information and confirm scope.* Perform on-site commissioning activities independently or as part of a team.* Review & report feedback of site readiness Audits (commissioning checklist/instructions).* Attend meetings before travel with site lead/project manager.* Own the Commissioning Plan and Schedule.* Coordinate with field engineering teams, mechanical & controls, for project execution.* Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced engineers.* Provide guidance to installation teams.* Follow current safety best practices while on-site and aware of current safety design practices.**What we are looking for:*** BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.* 4+ years of successful experience in related field.* Previous experience leading the design of semi-complex systems that integrate hardware and software, including all documentation and forecasting.* Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.* Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.* Proficient in AutoCAD.* Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.* Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.* Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.
