Descripción del empleo

To provide field operations/maintenance work for the field vehicle fleet and Ground Support Equipment, which requires preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and/or modifications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Repairs, modifies, and performs preventive maintenance inspections;
2. Troubleshoots field vehicle fleet and ground equipment;
3. Diagnoses issues, disassembles equipment, and performs repairs;
4. Makes adjustments for safe and efficient operation;
5. Completes required documentation such as VURR, VAGIS, and FAMIS;
6. Maintains a clean, safe work area according to OSHA standards;
7. Provides guidance to technicians and trainees;
8. Ensures project completion and manages maintenance materials inventory;
9. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and corporate departments regarding repairs.

Qualifications include:

1. Six (6) years of recent fleet, automotive, heavy equipment, or truck maintenance experience with applicable licenses or vocational training;
2. Knowledge of automotive and testing equipment, gauges, and tools for troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, gasoline, electrical, and diesel automotive equipment;
3. Ability to work independently for extended periods;
4. Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy components;
5. Preferred experience with welding and basic DC electrical troubleshooting;
6. Valid driver’s license; and
7. Fluency in English.

Requisitos y habilidades:

* Seis (6) años de experiencia reciente en mantenimiento de flotas, automóviles, equipos pesados o camiones.

* Conocimiento del uso y operación de todos los equipos automotrices y de prueba, medidores y herramientas asociados con la resolución de problemas y reparación de equipos automotrices industriales hidráulicos, de gasolina, eléctricos y diesel.

* Capacidad para trabajar sin supervisión durante períodos prolongados y levantar/manipular componentes industriales pesados.

* Se prefiere experiencia en soldadura y solución de problemas eléctricos básicos de CC. Se requiere licencia de conducir válida.
