Linux Server Management Administrator

Role Information:

The Senior Linux & Cloud Administrator is responsible for:

1. Respond, troubleshoot and resolve alerts & incidents in the Linux OS or infra layer – VMWare/ Azure/ AWS/ GCP/ Baremetal;
2. Being a L3 escalation point for productive issues;
3. Follow change management processes during service request execution;
4. Seek opportunities to streamline standard operating procedures through automation;
5. Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic and flexible environment;
6. Operate effectively in a global 24x7 International environment.

EXPERIENCE:

1. 4+ years of related professional experience;
2. Advanced technical background of Linux based server operating systems;
3. Practical experience with OS operation, upgrades and security patching;
4. Networking experience with the suite of TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls;
5. Experience with network services like DNS and LDAP and HTTP proxies;
6. Good understanding of IT security, OS hardening;
7. Experience in script programming (e.g. Shell, Perl, Python, Go, etc.) and with server automation tools (e.g. Ansible, CHEF);
8. Experience with server operations in large environments and in public clouds – Azure, AWS, GCP;
9. Fluency in English language.

Role Requirements:

1. 4+ years experience as Linux Administrator;
2. 4+ years experience in at least one of the public cloud administration – Azure, AWS, GCP;
3. Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent and proactive way;
4. Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking;
5. Very good communication and networking skills;
6. Strong customer service focus;
7. Very good English language skills.
