Parker Hannifin Corp in Monterrey area (Apodaca) seeks a Lead Project Engineer to drive engineering projects for new and core products, and to develop production processes for manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong English, PMP familiarity, and experience with project management tools to coordinate cross‑functional teams and optimize yields and quality in a global manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Moderate to advanced engineering problem solving experience.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, hybrid).
• Experience in manufacturing/project execution or transfer projects.

Position Summary

Leads engineering project team(s) or serves as primary technical lead on engineering project(s) for new or core products or processes, develop production processes for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Product and system integration focus
• First role leading a matrix project team or as lead engineer
• Creates solutions to diverse and difficult engineering problems
• Devises tests and oversees product acceptance
• Reviews the technical work of others
• Presents technical product and/or system capabilities or proposals to customers
• Works and communicates with potential vendors, academic professionals, marketing, customers, governmental agencies, and other technology providers
• Performs complex calculations and prepare standard operations sheets
• Analyze existing production and develop recommendations for changes.
• Investigate most complex manufacturing difficulties and determine corrective procedures
• Responsible for meeting Win Strategy objectives by increasing yields and productivity and improve the quality and consistency of finals products
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans (schedule, milestones, work breakdown structure).
• Coordinate resources, assign tasks, and monitor progress against plan.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain a risk register.
• Track and resolve issues; escape appropriately when needed.
• Manage internal/external dependencies across teams and vendors
• Lead cross-functional teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Remove blockers and support the team in meeting commitments.
• Coach team members on project practices and continuous improvement.
• Responsible of innovation projects track and delivery.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in an Engineering Industrial, Mechanical or similar
• 4 to 7 years in Project Execution/Manufacturing Experience
• Business/Technical English level is a must
• Design and drawings interpretation experience
• Transfer Projects Experience
• Competencies: Problem solving, PMP and analytics skills
• PMP Certification desired.
• Black/Yellow Belt certifications desired.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, hybrid).
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar.
