Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Director of Sustainable Construction Projects to lead environmentally responsible initiatives on a fully remote, globally scoped basis. Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience, with focus on sustainable projects.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainable building materials, technologies and energy-efficient design principles.
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with sustainability rating systems (LEED AP, BREEAM).
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning and execution of sustainable construction projects globally.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM).
• Oversee the selection and management of contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Drive innovation in sustainable building design and construction methodologies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists.
• Communicate project status and sustainability metrics to senior management.
• Promote a culture of sustainability within project teams.
