Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Coordinador de Programas de Rehabilitación y Reinserción Social in Mérida, Yucatán, MX. You will develop and oversee rehabilitation and reintegration programs and collaborate with stakeholders to reduce recidivism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in social work, correctional services, rehabilitation, or program management with offender reintegration focus.
• Strong program development and case management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage rehabilitation and social reintegration programs for individuals with offending histories.
• Coordinate services such as counseling, vocational training, educational support, and life skills development.
• Build partnerships with correctional facilities, probation services, employers, and community networks.
• Conduct assessments to identify participant needs and challenges.
• Facilitate group sessions and workshops on anger management, substance abuse, conflict resolution, and job readiness.
• Provide case management and monitor progress.
• Develop and manage program budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Collect data and prepare reports to evaluate effectiveness and impact.
• Advocate for participant needs and promote rights in the community.
• Organize community outreach activities to foster reintegration.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Social Work
