Job summary

Clarios, LLC in Ciénega de Flores is seeking a Production Manager, Adjustment & Refining to lead daily refining and smelting operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will develop supervisors and frontline teams, drive Lean initiatives, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to optimize performance using data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Experience leading large operational teams through frontline supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgical or foundry processes.
• Hands-on production environment with significant shop-floor presence.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and metrics.
• Intermediate to advanced English.
• Preferred experience with Core Tools, TPM, and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO and IATF requirements.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel for data-driven management.
• Background working with metals (lead, aluminum, steel, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead Refining and Adjustment production area to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Manage and develop a team of supervisors and frontline personnel.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and improve production KPIs: productivity, quality, safety, efficiency.
• Ensure ISO/IATF and regulatory compliance.
• Balance production planning with shop floor execution and engagement.
• Lead problem-solving on production, quality, process performance, and stability.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain.
• Utilize data analytics and metrics to support decisions.
• Develop and execute actions to improve performance and safety culture.
