Jabil is seeking a Lead Automation Design Engineer to spearhead the design and execution of automation projects. You will lead a team of design engineers to ensure specifications, plans, and installations are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires expert knowledge across mechanical, electronics, electrical and software application engineering, with a strong background in EMS industries and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A minimum of 8–10 years’ experience is expected.

Formación

• Expert understanding of automation design principles for mechanical, electrical and software domains.
• Experience in EMS industries and automated equipment deployment.
• Ability to lead a design team through project life-cycle from concept to installation.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and oversees a group of Automation Design Engineers.
• Reviews and approves design drawings, user manuals and installation manuals.
• Collaborates with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Guides team in interpreting requirements to ensure specifications are met.
• Ensures engineering hours are logged to projects (JP2) and tracked.
