Position Overview

Join the License Compliance team in Mexico, part of Autodesk's fast-growing organization. As a key member of the Global License Compliance (GLC) Sales team, you will protect Autodesk’s Intellectual Property and execute strategies to ensure revenue growth within the License Compliance business. Your role involves retaining and growing customer Annual Order Value (AOV) by identifying non-compliance, leading customers through compliance engagement, negotiating issues, and expanding Autodesk’s customer base, including acquiring new clients.

This position offers a mix of remote and onsite work.

You will report to the Mexico Senior License Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with License Compliance strategies to meet revenue targets.
  2. Identify and pursue sales opportunities with existing and new customers misusing Autodesk software.
  3. Profile prospects using Autodesk License Compliance analytics tools, telemetry, and databases.
  4. Manage license compliance opportunities and activities in Salesforce.
  5. Engage with customers through outcome-focused conversations with C-Level and senior executives across industry segments.
  6. Guide customers through the compliance process, presenting audit findings and negotiating settlement and purchase timelines.
  7. Consult with C-level executives to understand business needs and risks, advising on strategic investments to address compliance issues while adding value.
  8. Coordinate with third-party auditors for remote and on-site customer audits.
  9. Understand Autodesk's terms of use and legal compliance frameworks; exercise sound judgment and involve legal teams when necessary.
  10. Collaborate across teams at Autodesk to ensure alignment on license compliance engagements.
  11. Share best practices and drive license compliance strategies globally, respecting cultural differences.
  12. Forecast business with an accuracy of within 10%.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience in communicating and negotiating with executives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in software.
  • Business proficiency in English.
  • Critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience handling complex negotiations with C-level and board members.
  • Ability to manage full sales cycles for large opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting and presenting data compellingly.
  • Ability to develop negotiation strategies based on established methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Preferred: Background in License Compliance, additional language skills, knowledge of cybersecurity trends, willingness to travel 0-25%.

Salary Transparency

For U.S.-based sales roles, starting OTE ranges from $143,000 to $206,910, including base salary and commissions. Compensation varies based on experience and location, with additional bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.
