The RoleWe are looking for a Legal Director to lead our legal and regulatory function across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the founding team, this person will be a strategic business partner to support Influur’s growth across our core business units: Service Campaigns (Marketplace), Digital Tools (Influur Pulse), and Financial Services (Cash Advance). You’ll oversee all legal matters—corporate, commercial, labor, data protection, and IP—ensuring the company operates with low legal risk while enabling speed and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all legal operations at Influur, including corporate governance, contracts, IP, labor, data protection, and regulatory compliance in the U.S. and LATAM.
• Be a strategic partner to Product, Finance, Sales, and Operations to support business goals and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate all critical contracts (e.g., terms of service, creator agreements, brand deals, tech vendor contracts).
• Implement internal legal processes to ensure compliance and reduce risk, especially in areas like payments, consumer protection, and financial products.
• Leverage on AI to automate legal workflows and processes.
• Resourcefully manage and leverage on external legal advisory across regions and specialties.
• Support future fundraising rounds and investor requests by ensuring legal structure, documentation, and processes are sound.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing legal team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Desired Background

• 7+ years of experience in corporate or in-house legal roles, ideally within tech startups or high-growth companies.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Law degree with specialization or demonstrated experience in corporate law or tech (ideally on startups).
• Experience across the U.S. and LATAM markets, knowledge of digital product regulation and financial services frameworks.
• Strategic mindset, hands on, business orientation, ownership, clarity in communication, and the ability to simplify complexity.
