Novartis is seeking a Learning Project Management Associate Director to lead the Learning Operations PM team in Mexico City. Hybrid work location and a focus on prioritization, resourcing, and delivery across the learning portfolio are emphasized.

The role requires 7+ years of PM experience, leadership skills, and proficiency with PM software. The position emphasizes collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and ongoing team development.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Seven or more years of relevant project management experience, including managing complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing project management teams.
  • Extensive experience using project management platforms to plan, track, and manage project delivery.
  • Attention to detail and ability to organize work across multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams and levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project planning tools.
  • PMI certification or similar credential is desirable.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the Learning Operations Project Management team, setting objectives, balancing workloads, and enabling effective delivery.
  • Oversee project intake, prioritization, planning, execution, and assessment across the learning project portfolio.
  • Partner with project managers and leadership to coordinate and deliver strategic internal projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify, prioritize, and track project management requests from training teams.
  • Analyze project data and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into workload, progress, and performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, communicate insights to leadership, and recommend opportunities to strengthen performance.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain project momentum, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify and enhance project management processes.
  • Partner with Learning Operations teams to support successful implementation of cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and develop Mexico City-based team members through mentoring, local support, people processes, and ongoing development.

Job Description Summary Location: Hybrid. CDMX As Learning Project Management Associate Director, you’ll lead the Learning Operations Project Management team in Mexico City, helping ensure projects are prioritized, resourced, and delivered effectively. You’ll bring clarity to competing demands, guide team workload and execution, and build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. As a local team leader, you’ll also create an environment where colleagues can collaborate, grow, and do their best work while advancing operational excellence across the learning organization.

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Seven or more years of relevant project management experience, including managing complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively leading, managing, mentoring, and developing project management teams.
  • Extensive experience using project management platforms to plan, track, and manage project delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize work and maintain quality across multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and tools used to support project planning, reporting, and communication.
  • Project Management Professional certification with demonstrated knowledge of project management practices and methodologies.
