Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Apodaca, Nuevo León, to design and optimize manufacturing cells and production line layouts. You will improve capacity planning, lead Lean initiatives, and develop standard work and DFMEA documentation across cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a degree in Industrial/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience, with fluent English.

Qualifications

• Industrial, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• +3 years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment with a culture of accident prevention.
• Manufacturing cell design and optimization of layouts.
• Calculate and control optimal production line capacities and processes.
• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives and resolve high-priority PFMEA findings.
